Start Time: 8.30am (don't forget daylight saving!)
The Filthy 50km course is suitable for riders of intermediate level and can be completed on Mountain bikes, Road bikes or Cyclo Cross bikes. You must be self-sufficient and proficient at changing tyres should the need arise.
Marshalls, water and some mechanical assistance will be provided en route.
The ride begins at the Victory Memorial Gardens at the head of Baylis Street.
A police escort will take riders down Fitzmaurice Street, over the Murrumbidgee and out through North Wagga. Be prepared for a gradual climb as you cycle your way up to and through the gates of Charles Sturt University.
The ride climbs over the top of CSU on Mambarra Dr and Nathan Cobb Drive past the winery before heading north out of town on Pine gully road.

This course takes in some breathtaking scenery as it passes wheat, canola and maize fields following Prices Rd heading west crossing Houlaghans Creek before turning right onto The Gap Road. At Dhulura turning right onto Allyes Rd.
Turn right onto Gap Hall –Downside road then right again onto Edels Ln /Hatwells Ln.
Cross Houlaghans creek again continuing on Hatwells Rd out onto the Gap road, Old Narrandera road gradual climb up over Harris rd and onwards up Pine Gully rd. around the back of the CSU on Nathan Cobb drive back out the front gate of CSU and home.
A very enjoyable ride that has its challenges with some little pitchy climbs.
Enjoy the festival at the end, you will have earned it.
